Fashion Revolution Round Up

This week is Fashion Revolution Week and here at Ethical Fashion Bloggers we are all joining the revolution by sharing some of our favourite ethical and sustainable outfits in a little round up.

This haulternative video by Verena of My Green Closet features second hand clothes for her spring capsule wardrobe.

Marisa at My Fair Ladies describes her outfit

“This is an outfit post focusing on the beautiful sweater Philo made by Jan’n June a fair fashion label based in Hamburg. This outfit and the post was made as a part of a little #wardroberevolution that we, a group of german bloggers, started to have an outfit countdown towards Fashion Revolution Day.”

Jean at Jean of All Trades, describes her Fashion Revolution outfit
“I put together an outfit that is my favorite combination: a US-made sustainable investment pieces (my handmade shoes); an imported fair-trade, organic piece (my dress); a thrifted items (my jacket); and a DIY piece (my scarf).

I like combining the qualities of these pieces. together, they represent the things I value in clothing (treating people, animals and the environment well, and recycling/upcycling).”
Patricia of Project Minima ensures that she knows exactly who made her clothes, by making them herself.
Franca of Oranges and Apples knows exactly where her clothes were made, she made this dress herself.
In her post about Fashion Revolution, Noorin of Outsider Fashion, tells the story behind her clothes.

For my Fashion Revolution Outfit I am wearing a charity shop jacket, organic cotton dress by Nancy Dee, Shoes by Dream in Green and Bag by What Daisy Did. You can see the whole post here.
